The National Education Association owns and retains rights in and to the Collection, but grants the Library a nonexclusive right to authorize all uses of the Collection for non-commercial research, scholarly, or other educational purposes pursuant to Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license. The NEA retains all rights to commercially exploit the contents of the Collection for a period of fifty (50) years from the Effective Date of the Deed of Gift with Gelman Library. Those requesting to use materials in a way that would not be covered by the CC BY-NC 4.0 license should contact the Special Collections Research Center at Gelman Library.
